Secrecy around Hagen
At the Higher Administrative Court (OVG) in Münster, conciliation talks were held yesterday between the organisation Deutsche Umwelthilfe, the state of NRW and the two cities of Wuppertal and Hagen.
No agreement could be reached for the situation in Wuppertal, the parties postponed the decision. For Hagen, on the other hand, according to several media reports, there was a tangible result, which, however, by mutual agreement remains secret for the time being.
Why, why and why we are not told what was agreed upon remains incomprehensible to some people. Transparency would give many anxious citizens a reassuring feeling - but the Higher Administrative Court seems to have failed to understand this.
