UK registrations now live!
New in the Green Zones Shop! As of today, you can order your registration to enter many of the UK's Green Zones from our shop! Older vehicles of various vehicle categories are affected. Partly also passenger cars and motorhomes! Registrations for past entries into the low emission zones are also possible. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a little longer for registrations for London, but these will also be available soon!
Euro 7: EU shies away from tighter regulations
The new Euro 7 emissions standard is due to come into force in 2025. Actually, the new standard should affect the emissions of all vehicles. The EU Council has now decided against tightening it for passenger cars and vans compared to Euro 6. In view of the stricter limits for air quality, which the EU decided on exactly a fortnight ago, the decision of the EU Council seems paradoxical.
Denmark travellers beware: Cars and motorhomes also affected
From 1 October 2023, the rules in the Danish low emission zones will be tightened. Cars and motorhomes will then also be affected. Penalties for failing to register can be up to 1,700 euros.
Even without low emission zone: Hanover becomes car-free
The environmental zone in Hanover is being abolished. Nevertheless, Hannover wants to become a car-free model city: more space for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Those who do not depend on their cars will no longer be allowed to drive them into the city center. Parking spaces are to be eliminated completely. Car-free: in Hannover's case, that means "not one car too many in the city".

Tyrolean transit ban: Austria soon in court?
Since the beginning of 2020, many trucks are no longer allowed to drive through Tyrol in Austria, even though they comply with the latest Euro standard. However, vehicles travelling to and from Tyrol are not affected by the ban. This is unequal treatment, for which Italy now wants to take legal action.
BREAKING NEWS: New limits in EU could result in thousands of new environmental zones!
The permitted values for particulate matter and nitrogen oxide are to be adjusted to the latest limit values of the WHO. These are many times lower than current EU standards. The cities must make massive improvements and take measures in the next few years. Otherwise, the EU could soon be plastered with environmental zones.
Piedmont: No tightening for diesel vehicles in northern Italy
Actually, there should be a ban on diesel Euro5 vehicles in Piedmont in Italy soon. 76 municipalities would be affected. Now the council has put the changes on hold for the time being. A sigh of relief for the owners of the approximately 140,000 vehicles.
Problem particulate matter: More environmental zones thanks to alternative fuels?

ULEZ fight continues: London signs not legal?
The Low Emission Zone in London - extended to over 1500 square kilometres a few days ago - could suffer a serious setback. After a citizen challenged the signs in court as unlawful and was proven right, more affected people could now escape the penalties of the ULEZ.
