From 2024: Brussels bans Euro5 diesel, Antwerp grants grace period
Brussels is getting serious in the fight against older diesel vehicles. Euro5 vehicles will be banned from 2024. The old combustion engines were actually supposed to be banned in all three environmental zones in Belgium. However, the Flemish government has decided to postpone the ban by one year.

For more climate protection: new lorry toll could also contribute to better air quality in cities
From December 2023, the lorry toll is to be linked to CO2 emissions. This is intended to incentivise more climate protection and reduce emissions. 200 euros will be due per tonne of CO2. The revenue from the toll is to be invested primarily in the railways in order to be able to transport more goods by rail again in future.
Trucks locked out: Austria temporarily closes Tauern motorway to freight traffic
Extended driving bans at weekends and spontaneous all-day closures for trucks on weekdays: In the next two years, truck drivers will have to prepare for enormous obstructions on the Tauern motorway from Salzburg to Villach. Transit traffic is likely to be the main victim of the tunnel work.
New products in the shop: VI, L and Angles Morts
From this week on, there are some new products to discover in our shop: the sticker "VI" - "EURO VI safe vehicle" and the sticker "L" - "Low noise vehicle" mark vehicles with special rights and help for example at border crossings. For some time now, we have also been offering the "Angles Morts" sticker. This is mandatory in France for marking vehicles with blind spots.

Protests stop low emission zone: Stockholm escapes ban on internal combustion vehicles
