The environmental zone of Malmö
With a population of over 336,000, Malmö is Sweden’s third largest city after Stockholm and Gothenburg. The city covers an area of 69.3 km² and is divided into ten districts. The huge Öresund Bridge connects Sweden’s southernmost city to the Danish capital Copenhagen. Malmö is the most important traffic centre in southern Sweden and the transport hub between Scandinavia and Europe.
The environmental zone is already in force since 01.01.1996. It is bordered by the streets of Citadellsvägen, Limhamnsvägen, Kalkbrottsgatan, Annetorpsvägen, Inre Ringvägen, Sallerupsvägen, Hornsgatan and Norra Vallgatan.
