Environmental zone London ULEZ - Great Britain
Standing on the River Thames in the south of England and with a population of 8 million, London is the third largest city in Europe. London is the capital of England and Great Britain.
The city of London is the central part of London, which includes several districts such as the historical centre and the business district.
The environmental zone of London ULEZ will be introduced on 08.04.2019. The Ultra Low Emission Zone is located in Central London and corresponds to the former Congestion Charge Zone or T-Charge Zone.
Further information can be obtained by clicking on the map on the left. Please refer to the table below to find out which driving restrictions apply to which types of vehicle at which times of the day and week in the environmental zone or use or Green-Zones app.
The REG-Certificate for English environmental zones
In the London (LEZ + ULEZ) environmental zones, many vehicle types are required to register and pay fees before entering a zone in order to avoid heavy fines.
For vehicles registered in Great Britain, a registration is only necessary if they do not meet the required standards.
As registration is complex and time-consuming, Green-Zones will offer a corresponding service for various vehicle types from autumn 2019 and will issue a Green-Zones REG-Certificate for the registered vehicle. Further information will soon be available here.
The registration certificate (REG-Certificate) for European environmental zones developed by Green Zones confirms to the buyer that Green-Zones has registered his vehicle for an environmental zone in Great Britain as required by law. The registration certificate is not an official badge/vignette.
