Euro 7: EU shies away from tighter regulations

The EU Council has now decided against tightening it for passenger cars and vans compared to Euro 6. Denmark travellers beware: Cars and motorhomes also affected
From 1 October 2023, the rules in the Danish low emission zones will be tightened. Cars and motorhomes will then also be affected. Penalties for failing to register can be up to 1,700 euros.
Even without low emission zone: Hanover becomes car-free
The environmental zone in Hanover is being abolished. Nevertheless, Hannover wants to become a car-free model city: more space for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Those who do not depend on their cars will no longer be allowed to drive them into the city center. Parking spaces are to be eliminated completely.
